So I'll keep it simple, I'm looking for stuff to talk about here on the blog, if you've got a question I'll do my best to give you an answer as in depth as possible. Leave the question as a comment here on the blog and I'll see what I can do.
You could do an entire post describing each xc team thats upcoming this season. talk about the pros and cons or something. Tracks over and xc is far away but we all need something to read
I actually like this idea. But look at teams from all over the State not just D1 and D7. You could do mock district meets and describe who will get to states from each division and why?
yeah im liking the idea as well (not sure about another mock meet but the idea is around what i was thinking). maybe go over your ET top 10 teams? Sleeper picks, improvements, major moves, rivalries, etc. Keep up the great work Train!
I think a Top 5 from each District seems pretty entertaining. I understand that some Districts are far less deep than others and therefore will be more difficult but still
Long range predictions for this year's seniors. Who goes sub 4 first, Magaha, Willig, Coyle? Wilson...sub 14 in a few years? Angel...NCAA contender? Who'll turn into a steeplechaser? A marathoner? You'll probably offend someone in this process, oh well, it'll be worth it.
Actually this would be a pretty good list. But if it was just from last xc season then idk if u can even find enough noteable names. Indoor and Outdoor injuries would have to be involved
Analysis of of the up and coming and the should-be more competitive D3 teams. I suggest looking at Hershey, LD, Carlisle, CV, Hempfield, Red Lion, and Gov Mifflin and maybe Chambersburg but they lost a lot of strong seniors.
You could do something where you compare current teams and individuals to past teams and individuals. See who would match up well. See if current runners are very similar to past runners. And see if past teams were better then current teams. Example compare the North Penn team of 07 and 08 to O'hara now. Idk just something interesting to see.

DeleteSome districts don't have five teams.
DeleteI like the above idea, but for something a bit sooner you could do an olympic trials preview
ReplyDeleteYou should do a Top 10 JV rankings too.
ReplyDeleteDo it
DeleteOlympic Trials!

ReplyDeleteCoyle is a junior, just putting that out there
DeleteCould you see what changes there were in the team races like you did with the medalists as an add on to your post.
ReplyDeleteCan you do a top 10 returning injured runners? Whose a dark horse too look out for?
