It's tough to get rankings going in track because the elements are very different than cross country. In cross country, everyone runs the same distance, 5000m, and each course is different. Each race is different. A track at Baldwin is the same distance and basically the same surface as a track at Grove City or a track at West Chester Henderson. A 9:16 in the 32 is basically universal, but a 15:59 on a 5k course is very different. All the same, I will do my best to give some rankings for each of the distance events this year. You will have to bear with me because I haven't seen quite enough results to make these rankings very deep, but I will do my best. I will assume every individual can run any event that they have raced in the past (magaha would easily be on the 3k rankings, but he has never run anything over a mile seriously on the track so he gets left off). If you haven't raced yet, there is a very high probability you will not end up on these rankings. Any other questions about why, how, who, what, where or when feel free to comment.
