Also some things worth noting.
Apparently Shearn is healthy and ready to roll at states. That could make things very interesting as we kind of waved off his entry in our video.
Also Tom Coyle's sickness was apparently more serious than previously suspected. He is allegedly not running the DMR this weekend at states according to multiple sources. This makes his open mile more interesting as well as the LaSalle team title choices. And of course the DMR becomes much more wide open. A variety of teams have shown the potential to run the mid to low 10:20 mark that would take gold.

Lastly, the team title race is absurdly close. Pennridge, Garnet Valley, Bensalem and LaSalle are the front runners in my mind but Henderson and O'Hara as well as North Penn are teams that could sneak up on people if everything clicks right for their squad. This is one of the most exciting team title races in state history.
Lastly (for real this time), although neither Forrest or I will be at the state meet we are working hard to get video coverage. DT East's own Zack Neiner has offered to cover the meet for us and is more than qualified to do so. He currently attends Penn State and is a journalism expert. He has his own sports and entertainment blog, 4thanhollywood.com, and has a lot of big ideas that can help us get excellent statement coverage. Right now we are just trying to make sure we don't break any media coverage laws with the PTFCA that will get Zack into trouble. As we finalize plans I will let you all know them.
We want to get interviews with all the state champions so if you are a state champion be on the lookout for our man Zack. We will give you more information on how to find him once we have finalized coverage arrangements.
Don't think that Coyle rumor has legs(haha, couldn't resist). Heard today that he WAS going to run the DM. Guess we'll see.
ReplyDeleteSo I know its Willig in the front, and Russell's in the background, but when/where was the blog's background picture?
ReplyDeleteMile at states indoor. See Coyle's head behind Willig?
ReplyDeleteSounds like the head games have begun...
ReplyDeleteRumor that Wellington ZaZa wants a Harlem shake video taken at PA states!
DeleteThat'd be dope
