Its a big weekend when you get to see the boys run at Pre States! The meet really took off last year as we saw some great teams there. I'll probably do a preview later in the week but I want to reiterate the fact that no team has ever ran the Foundation meet and then won states. O'Hara just missed accomplishing that feat last year and now will test their luck again. Here are the current entries from the official foundation meet website worth noting:
Shawn Regan, Allentown CC
Kyle Francis, Brad Rivera, Bensalem
Aziz Yousif, Bradford Area
The Cardinal O'Hara boys featuring Savage, Pitone, James, Pastore, Belfatto, Hayes and Smart
Jordan Crawford, Nathan Repetz, Cedar Cliff
Alec Brand, CB East
Dominic Deluca, Dallas
Luke Jones, Elk Lake
Evan Williams, Governor Mifflin
Dan Jaskowak, Grove City
Aaron Benka, Grove City
Jacob Fetterman, Hazelton Area
The Holy Redeemer Boys
Jack Magee, LaSalle
Brendan Billotta, LaSalle
Andrew Stone, LaSalle
The Lower Dauphin boys featuring Jeff Groh and Cole Nissley
Jon Colwell, Mifflin County
Addison Monroe, Mifflin County
Will McDermott, Bonner
Chris Culley, Moon Area
The Mount Lebanon Boys featuring Seamus Roddy
The North Allegheny Boys featuring Zemet, Seel, Luoco, and McGoey
Brendan Shearn, North Schuylkill
Curt Jewett, Northeast Bradford
Sam Williams, Northeast Bradford
Tyler Stelmack, Northwestern Lehigh
The Pennsbury Boys featuring Connor Harriman and Sam Webb
Ian Yanusko, Pottsgrove
The Quaker Valley Boys
Hunter Johnston, Saegertown
Connor Linse, Souderton
Ean DiSilvio, Allerdice
Steve Yannacone, Unionville
Avery Scripture, Upper Perkiomen
Ryan and Alex Archer from Vincentian Academy
A pretty sick set of entries, especially in the team title talks. I'm interested to see how this race gets split up. I heard possibly 3 races. Should be interesting either way.
I heard three races as well. That does kind of thin out the field, but it also gives it even more of a pre-states feel, which I like a lot. Should be epic.
ReplyDeleteWell se how NA matches up with Ohara also!
ReplyDeleteIt looks that O'Hara will be running 2 varsity teams this weekend at 2 different meets
ReplyDeleteThe schools in each of the three races are listed;
